The latest news on Recycling from Sherry Way as of 7/21/2008

There is no longer any Recycling done here at Indian Lake Estates.  The County pulled the truck out.  Today they came around and collected my yellow bins.  Please post this on the website.

I was told to contact the County, but I don't have the time.  I am still fighting with them to correct my physical address.

A Note about Recycling from Sherry Way

I called Florida Refuse - (863) 665-1489 and asked about a recycle program here in ILE.  Any individual who wished to recycle glass/plastic/paper/cardboard can call that number and request recycle containers.  The truck comes every Tuesday and emptys out the yellow container.

It took about 3 weeks after my call to receive 1 yellow container (they told me I would get 3 but they seem to have a shortage and 2 more will come later).

Any one who wished to participate in the recycle program needs to call for themselves. 

Also, with the mixup in some physical addresses (as mine has changed twice since the new addresses started in Oct. 2005), it is a good idea when you call to verify that they have the correct address on file.
